The titanium liner lock handle is outfitted with 5 layer random Damascus bolsters, brown burlap Micarta scales, and a bronze anodized pocket clip. The liners and steel backspacer are fileworked. This knife comes with a signed certificate of authenticity, dated 4/2/15.

Mark Nevling, the craftsman and creator of Burr Oak Knives, discovered his enthusiasm for knife-making in 1987 when he created his first knife. He has continued in perfecting his work since that time, now as a full-time maker with a skill set that is evidenced in the exemplary knives he produces. Mark Nevling is also a volunteer firefighter and a certified first responder in Hume, Illinois; this gives him working knowledge of the particular needs of these professionals.
